The WWE Universe is currently enjoying a highly electric Dwayne Johnson season. The Hollywood star and pro wrestler has become a very rare sight in WWE and seldom makes any appearances on the show. However, his current run is seeing him overstay his usual period, making the fans expect more of him.

The current Dwayne Johnson buildup has been focused on WrestleMania XL since he returned in late January. But, with the amount of involvement he currently has in WWE storylines, it is hard to imagine a sudden exit by The Rock after Mania.

When Dwayne Johnson will finally pick a side

Dwayne Johnson has shown very dodgy behavior ever since he arrived. While his promos efficiently mask this, fans and experts have caught several signs that indicate he isn’t really with The Bloodline. On the other hand, he doesn’t really seem to be on the side of Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins either.

It is clear that a final conclusion won’t be reached at WrestleMania XL. Given the reputation of Dwayne Johnson and his acting career, he won’t leave while leaving his story hanging. Moreover, he is also a TKO Board member now, and can’t do a half-baked storyline run. More importantly, he will have to continue his heel run against Cody Rhodes or, if he betrays Roman Reigns, that will also require his involvement.

Hence, it is safe to say that Dwayne Johnson won’t be making an exit right after WrestleMania XL. According to WON’s Dave Meltzer, his presence has been a massive blessing for WWE, and The Rock would definitely want the momentum to continue.

But, Dwayne Johnson also has commitments outside of WWE. Especially with all the movies he is involved in, he may also bid farewell to WWE once again.

Why will The Rock have to depart from WWE once again?

Dwayne Johnson has been making a lot of news for every move he makes in WWE. However, his movie projects have also kept him in the headlines. Most notably, he is working in the biopic ‘The Smashing Machine’, and playing the role of US MMA legend Mark Kerr.

Apart from that, he is working on the sequel of Moana, a film that is very close to his heart. Moana is expected to be released on November 27th, which falls close to the release date of his film Red One (November 15th).

Hence, Dwayne Johnson has a jam-packed schedule, but regardless, his appearance at WrestleMania is set. What are your thoughts on this? Let them flow in the comments.
