Singer/songwriter, actress, content creator, & entrepreneur Gabi DeMartino reaches out on heartfelt new single “Broken Morning”
The track will be accompanied by an official music video, which fans can expect on April 6st. Gabi has also announced her new album Paintings of Me, due out in early May. “Broken Morning” is a deeply personal pop ballad that chronicles Gabi’s emotional rollercoaster mid-breakdown.
Gabi reveals: “It ultimately brought me peace,” “In that moment, I was not only trying to rationalize to myself how it’s just a bad morning and not a bad life, but that I can get through today just like I’ve gotten through other days. Sometimes we get stuck in routines that leave us unable to address our thoughts, emotions, or to simply grieve. Suppressing emotions to keep life going and feeling normal ultimately after the loss of my beloved 15 year old yorkie, Lily, led me to write this song. That was truly a broken morning for me.”
Gabi quickly grew into one of the most popular content creators with her solo channel boasting more than 3 million subscribers and the Niki & Gabi channel garnering over 9.5 million subscribers and over 1 billion views. Gabi is much more than a content creator, as she is also known as a singer/songwriter, producer, entrepreneur, and actress.
In 2021, Gabi released her single “Immaculate” – which will be featured on her upcoming album Paintings of Me. The track ties directly into Gabi’s mental health journey, which is chronicled throughout the album. “‘Immaculate’ digs deep into the darker parts of my mental health and some of the struggles I’ve faced with it in the public eye,” Gabi says on the track. DeMartino has also recently opened for Zedd’s Musikfest performance and is recognized for her starring role in Ariana Grande’s hit music video ‘Thank U Next.’
She was named alongside Niki as one of the top 10 Beauty Influencers by Women’s Wear Daily in 2016. Gabi has also launched her own perfume, Beautiful Mess, a fruity floral gourmand accord featuring a lavishly lush combination of a creamy macaron, dazzled in apples and peaches.
